Center Stage Soul is such an amazing band! From their vocals, their song selection, audience interaction and participation, Center Stage Soul is truly one of the best bands that I have ever seen! They are talented, professional, and really know how to get and keep the crowd moving! Words cannot express how much fun I have each time I see them perform. Center Stage Soul is an awesome band! I’ve known the band leader Jirmad Gordon for over 20 years now. His band has consistently proven to be professional, reliable, and more than willing to go above and beyond what is asked of them in order to provide me with the highest quality live music for all of my events!

For the past two years, I’ve contracted Center Stage Soul to be the backing band for all the artist at my African Entertainment Awards show held in Elizabeth, NJ. There were a ton of songs that the band needed to learn in a very short time span and they not only learned all of the material but they also created backing tracks for the artist as well, which I understand from a technical standpoint requires a great deal of additional work. The band was outstanding and made sure that all of my artist gave their best performance.

Center Stage Soul is my go to band for all of my live music events and I highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking the highest quality in live music and performance!

After hearing the sounds of Center Stage Soul Band, I was very impressed. They were very professional during our first official meeting. The band did an outstanding job with their performance. The location of the event was very limited with space, but when they performed it felt as if we were in Madison Square Garden. The band had such a soulful vibe. The band leader Jirmad Gordon is a former music student of mine. I’ve watched him grow up to become a fine young man and true professional when it come to how he handles his business. We have had the pleasure of having Center Stage Soul at our bi-annual celebration and we were impressed above our expectations. We have heard the band play at various events and that is what interested us in booking them. They had our celebration over the top, and the DJ definitely had to put on his best records right away to keep the energy high and moving. I absolutley loved the crowd interaction & professionalism. Personally I am a stickler for perfect pitch singers, and terribly unbalanced sound systems and that night my ears were blessed with the best sound of both. We will be using them again for our next celebration and I will also be looking to book them for my wedding!!
